WHAT IS CARTRUNK ENTERTAINMENT?

Cartrunk Entertainment is dedicated to the art of gaming. We focus primarily on board games (or table games-dice, cards, tiles, etc.) but dabble heavily in more active sports type games when the weather is helpful and the inclination arises. We hope to serve the gaming community and the world at large as an advocate for games and the power they have to enrich the lives of those who play them.

Our mission is to promote the hobby of gaming in three ways:

Events: We host game nights, and assist with board game nights at some local stores. We also help cater board game themed entertainment to private parties and events. Our biggest event so far is the Unpub program which is growing seeds across the country at this point.

Design: We design our own games and support other designers and independent publishers. I love playing prototypes as well as published games. I support the games I feel strongly about by giving them space on the website to help promote them to players and publishers. We do NOT publish and we do not plan to publish, but I will support designers on their way to publication. We currently have a little muscle behind two games that are seeking publication, Compounded and Tabgha. We hope that through supporting other designers we can help bring new games to the attention of the world at large and create new entertainment choices for you, your friends and your family.

Advocacy: We talk about games. We talk about games we like and don’t like. We talk about how and why we play games. We hope others learn from our talking and realize that “games is good.”
