Today’s the day.

The teams are assembled for the big game. No… not THAT big game, Our BIG game of VIVAJAVA: The Coffee Game! That’s right VIVAJAVA: The Coffee Game! I said VIVAJAVA: The Coffee Game! 

That’s right, today at 4pm (EST) 7 players are going to sit down to masterfully blend the best coffees the world has EVER seen! EVER! We’re going to play that game that’s going to let you throw away all your other games!

That’s right, we’re going to LIVE STREAM A GAME OF VIVAJAVA right on the interwebz! We won’t be digitized and running around the grid, we’ll be sitting  a dining room table in Dover, Delaware playing what is destined to be the next best thing in board gaming, but you can watch us play this amazing game from the comfort and safety of your own home!

That’s right. It’s true. We know you already bought the snacks. By 4pm the Pizza is on it’s way. We KNOW this. So do you. What are you going to do until Kick-Off? Sit there and watch all the “pre-game” junk that whatever network is airing the Superbowl is going put forth? No. Why would you do that? Do you really care about those players and coaches and human interest stories that have nothing to do with anything? You don’t, but you watch because there is no alternative. It’s Superbowl Sunday, we’re Americans, this is what we’re programmed to do.

…But wouldn’t you rather do something a little more Boardgamey? Wouldn’t you like to watch a MAJOR BOARD GAME EVENT!?!?! Yes, you would. We know you would, that’s why you’re here. And that’s what we’re going to give you.

Designer TC Petty III has come to our headquarters in Delaware. We’ve assembled a crew of seasoned, well blended players. We’re here to play the best game of VivaJava we have ever played! It will be epic! It will be huge!

We’re going to talk strategy throughout the game. We’ll clue you in to what we’re doing as we do it. If you have a question, just ask. This is for you…and for us. We’re hoping to have a great time playing this game that we have all come to love. We want to help you fall in love with it too.
